Portage Aircraft Maintenance Ltd. derived from the growth of Jonair (1988) Ltd. in 1978. With the maintenance needed on Jonair’s aircraft as well as the growing demand from outside sources a larger facility was needed. In 2002 Jonair built a large 80’ x 104’ building divided into a shop and main office. November 2005 the shop became a limited company and operating to accommodate outside aircraft maintenance to individuals and companies. Portage Aircraft Maintenance Ltd. employs 3 licensed mechanics.
